Emocards LLP
Emocards is a dedicated company set up to generate funds for activities to support the recovery of people who have experienced emotional distress and have used mental health services.
Profit Use
The use of its profits is the very essence of the Emocards Project. Emocards will use all of its profits for the first three years to:
- Fund and promote activities to support recovery
- Develop a range of creative Training Aids (to ensure its long term viability as a source of funding)
- Generate part-time work (as a recovery activity) in the future
Emocards Sales Revenue & Funding
The first 250 packs of Emocards will be printed as a ‘Special Edition’. Fifty packs will be used for promoting and marketing Emocards primarily in mental health in the UK and across Europe.
Sales Revenue
1. 1/3 of sales revenue from the first 200 boxed cards will cover all initial production and marketing costs:
- Origination and production (Cards, Boxes and Instructions)
- Marketing
2. 1/3 of sales revenue will cover Design Protection, Product Development and Running costs:
- Trade mark and copyright
- Product development
- Running costs
3. All remaining funds (1/3) will be used for funding Recovery Activities.
As with all Emocards products, after production of the first batch a greater proportion of the revenue will be available to be used for funding Recovery Activities
200 packs of Emocards will generate £10,000 for funding Activities to Support Recovery
Who will benefit from Emocards ?
- Client Groups
- Individuals
- Crisis Resolution / Home Treatment Teams (CR/HTT)
- Client Groups - who wish to generate recovery activities and support other clients in recovery will be invited to put forward a proposal for recovery activities to Emocards.
- Individuals - will be sought who themselves aspire to further their own recovery through six to twelve months part-time work with Emocards in their locality as a step towards employment.
- Crisis Resolution / Home Treatment Teams - will be sought who wish to support individual clients with recovery activities during their initial stages of recovery. The teams may put forward a request for support based on an individual client’s aspirations or identified activity.

The Long Term Viability
The long term viability of Emocards and the funding of Recovery Activities will be dependent on producing a range of creative Training Aids, of which four are already planned and two have been piloted in a variety of training situations. It is envisaged that each product will take six months to reach the market.
Details of Recovery Activities Supported
Details of completed activities will be posted on the Emocards Website www.emo-cards .com every six months. Larger recovery projects supported will either be signposted or available as a PDF download file.
Verification of Funding
A Charted Accountant will verify the amounts of money used to support recovery Activities. These will be posted on the Emocards Website.
